Matte Vs Clear Screen Protectors - Which Should You Get?
I am pretty sure you already know what the difference between a clear or matte one is already... The picture is right above ^.
When should you get matte or when should you get a clear screen protector and how should you decide?
MATTE
Basically, the matte one is non-reflective. In other words, if you're on the go and are usually outdoors, then clearly, the matte one would be a good choice, or the clear screen one would just reflect the h*ll out of the sunlight and make you go blind. (okay, not so serious.)
Additionally, the matte screen protector is most often anti-fingerprint and non-grease.. or in geek terms for anti-grease, oleophobic.
CLEAR
The clear screen protector is awesome if you like watching things is their full colors, like, you won't even feel that there's a protector on your smartphone screen.
Bad thing? It's pretty reflective under bright lights and if your fingers are 'dirty' (if you know what I mean) and you touch your phone, I guarantee you will see one whole lot of smudges on it.
Both are usually scratch proof, so that is an invalid comparison criteria.
I guess it's a pay off then, but I personally use the clear one now, since I don't go outdoors extremely often and I used to have a matte one (which killed the screen colors).
