Oleophobic Screen Protectors Are Your Best Choice
There are basically 3 'types' of mobile phone screen protectors you hear about in the market now.
1. Hydrophobic
2. Oleophobic
3. SMASH PROOF?
Well, if you are going to be getting a protector, please, get a hydrophobic one. Hydrophobic simply means that it repels water. If the one you're getting does not have this quality, I recommend you do not even consider picking it up.
Oleophobic simply means oil repelling. Why I recommend finding a cell phone screen protector which repels oil is simply because it prevents the facial oil of the user from being plastered all over your phone... Otherwise, that would be pretty disgusting. So unless you want to suffer from oily phone syndrome, please do get an oleophobic screen protector.
Then there is this 'smash proof' brand (which for privacy measures I won't mention). Really cool stuff, I've seen their videos on YouTube, but honestly, I don't think you're going to be facing circumstances where you smash your phone with an object by accident or on purpose very often.
If you're a phone abuse advocate, then by all means, purchase that 'smash proof' screen protector to enjoy your sadistic ventures. Or you could even get Blendtec's insanely powerful blending machine to destroy your phone. OKAY THIS IS GETTING TOO RANDOM.
Basically, your takeaway would be getting an oleophobic screen protector. Hydrophobic is a GIVEN, the one you buy better already have it.
